The names below are the Focal Points of The African Youth Architects ( AYA) across Africa.
1. Manara El Deib ( Academic Researcher, Teaching Assistant and a Dynamic Youth Activist Passionate About Migration)--Egypt
Ms. Manara El Deib is an iconoclastic academic researcher, a veteran teaching assistant at Arma Jaya University and UKDW in Indonesia; and also in Egypt at Alexandria University.
She is working on urban movement ( rural-urban migration) in order to fight human migration in rural and urban areas in Egypt.
She is also a Co-founder of an NGO working on child education.
2. Elizabeth Talatu Williams ( Gender and Reproductive Health Activist and Youth Leader)- NIGERIA
Elizabeth Talatu Williams has worked in the public health field for the last 5 years - with expertise in managing teams, monitoring and evaluation of programs, report writing, and research. Her expertise has seen her manage projects mainly focused on reproductive health, FGM/C, family planning, HIV/AIDs, and gender-based violence. She has worked closely with UNFPA, Advocates for Youth, Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, and numerous NGOs.
Elizabeth is the National Deputy Coordinator of the African Youth and Adolescent Network on Population and Development (AFriYAN), and the Youth Coordinator of UNFPA Youth Participatory Platform Lagos.
She earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Through her work, she has provided sexual reproductive health information to over 5000 young people especially adolescent girls.
3. Ms. Nthatisi Lesala ( Youth Leader )- LESOTHO
Nthatisi Lesala is a youth leader who is passionate about contributing positively to youth activities at both local, national and global levels. She is the founder of Greenland Farm and also the founder of Majakaneng Youth Club. She is working with different organizations in Lesotho to implement humanitarian activities.
4. Ms. Esther Moses ( Community Development Activist) SIERA LEONE
Esther is an inspiring activist and a community development devotee, a biological science graduate with three years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, offering valuable services to young people especially in guiding them against teenage pregnancy.
6. Ms. Satang Dumbuya ( Social Justice Advocate, Women, Youth and Child's Rights Advocate and Gender Activist)- THE GAMBIA
Satang Dumbuya is an enthusiastic young lady who works with and for people in the name of development. She has been involved in youth work for more than 12years and has led series of organizations that are doing great in The Gambia. She is the winner of the Face of The Gambia Beauty Pageant 2018 and the best participant of the Voice of the Youth competition, first edition to be held in The Gambia in 2018.
She has great interpersonal and communication skills that has allowed her to deal with different types of people at all levels and communities.
She is a social justice advocate who is concentrated on issues of climate change, women and youth empowerment and involvement in decision making, child rights, education and media Advocacy. She also works towards reducing Inequalities in our communities.
She aspires to become an expert in peace and conflict resolution or alternative despite resolution in communities.
7. Mr. Philhen Verite Obasseliki Mbangoi ( Freelance Translator and Linguist)- CONGO BRAZZAVILLE
2018: Bachelors degree in translation
2013: Certificate of Chinese language (汉语证书)
2010: A Level degree ( A4)
Internship: University of Jinan, high school of Nkol Eton ( Cameroon),
Teachs Chinese for a new time and also work as a translator with Chinese in Congo and Cameroon.
A freelance translator.
8. Mr. Kofi Tata ( Electrical Engineer and Youth Leader)- TOGO
Mr. Tata is a Togolese and he is an electrical technician and safety manager. He has years of experience in electrical engineering and has traveled wider across Africa. Born Agbénya Kofi Tata. He got his baccalaureate series D in 2008 high school general education of Keve. And continued his studies in Ghana. He studied Engineering at School (City & Guilds at CIPS institute) where he graduated in Electrical Engineering 2014 in the same year, he graduated with a certificate in Safety Management or Human Resources "Safety Management "at (Kwame Nkrumah University of Mines and Technology = UMAT). He was a teacher in Ghana and Niger. Currently, he occupy the position of technician in a company in Burkina Faso.
9. Mr. Assoumane Issaka Abdou Salam ( Aspiring Writer and Teacher )- NIGER
He is a graduate of British and American Literature in English at the Abdou Moumouni University in Niamey, the Republic of Niger. He has traveled wider across Africa; and he is an aspiring poet and English teacher.
10. Mr. Jeremiah Deamoe Sackie ( Journalist and Youth Leader)- LIBERIA
Jeremiah Deamoe Sackie is a Liberian Youth who is passionate about youth empowerment and he is a youth advocate. He is also a practicing Liberian journalist; his journalistic reportage focuses on promoting youth empowerment. He has participated in workshops, and conferences involving the Young African Thinkers Convention ( YATC 2018) held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, aimed at working towards the attainment of the AU AGENDA 2063.
