AYA focus on empowering the youth and creating job opportunities for them. The sole objective of AYA is to launch an international campaign on the attainment of a relevant and a quality education for all, and the implementation of the World Programme of Action for Youth, the SDG's and the AU AGENDA 2063. To make this difference in the lives of the youths, we want to see ( AfriKa ) and not AfriCa for the Africa we want; we are open to partnership with individuals or organizations, in order to create a suitable platform for coordinated actions and mass mobilization towards youth unemployment and employment creation for the youths in all sectors in Africa. As the number of youths increased population wise in recent years, which doesn’t exclude asylum seekers and refugees, West Africa in particular had seen an exponentially increase over the past decades, and countries like The Gambia, , Nigeria, Somalia, Senegal , Mali, Sudan, Siera Leone, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, etc, have been countries on the forefront to the increment of illegal migrations over the years. Therefore, West Africa needs a youth regional actor to develop creative communication tools, create employment opportunities, use advocacy to popularize and amplify ownership of the felt need to silencing illegal migration, youth unemployment and poverty in Africa.
Moreover, AYA seeks to build a youth-friendly continent, totally free from the vices of youth unemployment, low- education and poverty – by engaging the international community and the African governments through their ministries of youth and sports and national youth councils; to invest in youth and creative arts, for national development, in order to make key recommendations to addressing the programmatic actions of the African youths.
An organization such as this is expected to promote self-reliance amongst the youth, and to promote cooperation and Pan-africanism, reduce poverty, create job opportunities, invest in human resources for self-development, and educate the average citizenry of Africa who are mostly illiterates; particularly the youth and children.
Mission
Mission Statement: to be a legitimate and an authentic voice for African youths and their organizations capable of representing young people worldwide on the continent of Africa, to lead the development of their nations.

Our Market:
Across Africa, youth empowerment has seen an explosion of growth over the last three decades. West Africa is an affluent area with a high youth density and demography. Our market outreach has shown that nine out of 10 youth leaders polled in West Africa would prefer to have their organizations fully-funded and cared for their own people when they travel, rather than achieve their goals at home, and six out of 10 would consider having a grant funding provider for their organizations in order to implement their programmes and achieve their goals.
Our Competitive Advantages:
While there are currently uncountable youth businesses and organizations across Africa offering programmes for the youths, WE ARE THE ONLY ARCHITECTS. West Africa still remains a concern with the high migration flow, asylum and refugee movements.
AYA’s marketing strategy is to emphasize the quality and work of youth organizations actually providing care and support to African youths for free of charge, and the availability of our services toward the implementation of the AU AGENDA 2063, the SDG’s, MDG’s, etc.. Youth leaders who get funding and work support, for instance, will come home to find happy, friendly companions who have already been of support and committed rather than demanding for expertise to implement their programmes.
With us, we believe that:
· All youth organizations will be provided a grant support by certified staff of AYA.
· All our members are talented youths from across Africa and the world, who will make differences in the lives youth.
Financial Projections:
Based on the size of our organization, and our defined market area, our financial projections for our first year is $10,000. We projected a growth rate of 10% per year for the first two years.
On start-up:
We will have six trained staff to provide youth services and expect to hire four more this year once financing is secured. To begin with, co-founder Modou Lamin Age-Almusaf Sowe will be scheduling appointments and coordinating services, but we plan to hire a full-time 20 focal points from across Africa next year .
Already we have service commitments from over 10 youth partner organizations and plan to aggressively build our base through newspaper, website, social media, and direct mail advertising. The loving on-site professional care that AYA will provide is sure to appeal to African youths and their organizations throughout West Africa.
Start-up Financing Requirements:
We are seeking an operating line of $50,000 to finance our next year growth. Together, our co-founders have invested $12,000 to meet working capital requirements. We wish to fund at least 10 youth-led organizations in Africa by next year.
